Your entire application happens in the app.
Create your profile:
Share your name, contact info, and ZIP code.
Select the positions you’re qualified for:
Only choose roles where you have experience — you’ll complete short assessments for each one.
Enter your experience:
Most roles require at least 6 months of experience.
Complete your Skills Assessments:
Don’t stress — these help us understand your strengths. Not passing an assessment does not automatically disqualify you. Ideal reviews your full work history.

🎓 Qualifications

You can apply for multiple roles. To qualify for most positions, you’ll need:

At least 6 months of recent experience in the role
To pass at least one assessment for each skill
To meet eligibility requirements

📝 Eligibility Requirements

To work with Ideal Flex Work, you must:

Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Be 18 years of age or older
Complete and pass a background check (this begins after you accept your employment offer)
Have a smartphone that supports the current version of the Ideal app and has an active data plan

💼 Employment Status

All Ideal talent are classified as W-2 employees. That means taxes (federal, state, and local) are automatically deducted from your pay, making tax time easier and less stressful.

💵 Pay & Payment Options

Hourly Rates

Each skill has its own hourly rate, based on:

Your experience
Your local market

⭐️ Note: Your pay rate will be clearly displayed in your employment offer.
Plus, whenever you receive a job offer, you’ll always see the gross payout and hourly rate for that specific shift — so you know exactly what you’ll earn before accepting.

How You Get Paid

Ideal offers two payment methods:

1. Standard Pay (Direct Deposit)

Paid weekly on Fridays
Covers all verified shifts worked the previous week

2. Dayforce Wallet (Instant Pay)

Optional instant pay feature
Once a manager closes your shift, 80% of your earnings become available instantly in the Dayforce Wallet app
You’ll receive setup details by email after completing onboarding
