✨ Overview
Ideal Flex Work connects you to flexible W-2 opportunities.
You receive shift invites when you match a client’s booking needs.
Invite volume can change based on client demand.
🚫 Important to know
Ideal Flex Work is designed for flexible shifts, not guaranteed full-time employment.
We do not guarantee a set number of shifts or steady hours.
You don’t browse or pick shifts in the app — you receive invites and can accept or decline.
🧭 What Ideal Flex Work is
A flexible work option where you’re invited to work shifts booked by our clients.
You choose which invites to accept.
You are hired as a W-2 employee by Ideal.
Taxes are withheld from your pay, as required by law.
📩 How shift invites work
Clients create bookings based on their needs.
Once a booking is created, the system identifies workers who match the job requirements and sends invites.
Some bookings fill fast, so not every eligible worker will receive every invite.
📅 Why availability matters
Setting availability isn’t “one and done.” You should update it every week.
Ideal Flex Work has two availability settings:
General Availability = your “usual” hours (copies week to week)
Weekly Availability = your availability for specific dates this week (you update this manually each week)
If you don’t update your Weekly Availability, you may miss invites for shifts you could have worked.
For multi-day bookings, workers whose availability matches more of the booking’s dates/times may be invited sooner than workers whose availability only matches some of them.
Availability affects invite order/timing — it does not guarantee invites or decide eligibility.
After you update, make sure you save (review the dates and tap the checkmark).
