Background checks are completed after you accept an employment offer and before you begin working. Ideal Flex Work may also conduct periodic background checks during your employment to ensure continued compliance.
Submitting the Background Check Disclosure and Authorization form during your application provides the necessary consent for a background check to be completed.

Background checks typically take a few days, but the exact timing can vary based on several factors, including:
Where you have lived within the past 7 years
The ability of local courts or agencies to return records promptly
The type of screening required for the role
Most checks finish quickly, but some jurisdictions take longer to process.
🔍 Who completes the background check?
Ideal Flex Work partners with a third-party background check provider to securely process all screenings. You’ll receive email updates directly from the provider if any action is needed.
📬 What should applicants expect?
You’ll receive an email when your background check is initiated.
You may be asked to provide additional details or documentation.
You’ll be notified when your results are ready or if additional steps are required.
