How Can I Access My W-2 Forms From Ideal Flex Work?
Understanding how to access your W-2 forms is crucial for managing your tax documents efficiently. This guide explains the different methods Ideal uses to deliver W-2 forms and clarifies their availability.
Physical Mail Delivery
W-2 forms are mailed to the postal address on file for your account. Ensure that your mailing address is updated and accurate in your Ideal account settings to receive your forms promptly. If your address has changed recently, we recommend verifying or updating this information as soon as possible to avoid delays.
W-2 Online Access through Dayforce HCM
Currently, W-2 forms are not accessible through the Ideal app. You will need to rely on the physical mailing process to obtain these documents. Confirming your postal address in advance ensures you receive your tax forms on time.
However, a digital copy of your W2 for shifts worked July 1 - December 31 is available through Dayforce HCM (web browser only - not through the app). If you are already registered for Dayforce Wallet, then you already have a log in. Otherwise, you’ll need to first register on Dayforce HCM using a web browser.
Register on the Dayforce Website
Open your phone’s web browser (Safari or Chrome).
Go to ideal.dayforcehcm.com
Log in using the following or the password you set up during dayforce wallet set-up if you created a new one:
Username: FirstName.LastName
Example: John.Doe
Temporary Password Format: BirthYearidealLast4SSN@
Example: 1992ideal1234@
Create a new password when prompted — save it somewhere secure.
Once you are logged in, to go the top left Menu option to select from the drop down menu and click on "Earnings"
Then navigate to "Year End Forms"
