If something doesn’t feel right at a gig — whether it’s a conflict, discrimination, harassment, or a safety concern — here’s exactly what to do and what to expect next.

Updated this week

✨ Overview

We want you to feel safe, respected, and supported at every gig. If an issue comes up, the most important thing is to protect your safety first, document what happened, and let the right people know so we can take action.

This article explains:

  • When to seek emergency help

  • Who to notify on-site

  • How to report an incident to Ideal Flex Work

  • What information to include

  • What happens after you report

🚨 If This Is an Emergency

  • If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 right away.

  • Once you are safe, notify the on-site supervisor or manager so the situation is documented.

  • After that, report the incident to Ideal Flex Work as soon as you can.

🧭 What to Do During or Right After an Incident

  1. Prioritize your safety

    • Step away from the situation if needed.

    • Get help from on-site supervision.

  2. Notify the client or supervisor on site

    • Ask that the incident be documented.

    • If applicable, request that an incident report be created.

  3. Report the issue to Ideal Flex Work in the app

    • Tap the question-mark Help icon in the upper-right corner of the app.

    • Message Talent Support with details of what happened.

📝 What to Include When Reporting a Complaint or Incident

  • Your response and any steps you took to stop the behavior

  • Names of witnesses, if any

  • Any supporting evidence (photos, screenshots, messages, documents)

  • The impact on you

  • Your preferred outcome, if you have one

You should contact us if you experience or witness:

  • Discrimination or harassment

  • Situations that cause you to leave a shift early

  • Any behavior that violates safety or professional standards

🔄 What Happens After You Report

  • The Talent Relations or EOR team reviews reports within within business hours.

  • Information is kept confidential as much as possible.

  • We may need to speak with the client or others involved to investigate.

  • You’ll receive updates in the app as the review progresses.

  • If action is taken, we’ll let you know when appropriate.

🛑 Returning to the Location

If you don’t feel comfortable returning to a location:

  • You can un-match from that client if invited again, or

  • Select “Never” when rating the gig

Both options are anonymous to the client. Your comfort and safety come first. 💙
