  • The payroll week runs from Monday to Sunday.

  • Payroll is processed every Tuesday for shifts completed in week that ended the previous Sunday.

Funds Availability in Dayforce Wallet

Dayforce Wallet allows users to access part of their earnings quickly, depending on certain factors:

  1. Shift Payments: Funds are sent to Dayforce Wallet once the client approves the hours worked for the shift. Clients typically have up to 24 hours post-shift to review and approve hours. For shifts involving multiple workers or complex reviews, the approval window can be extended to 72 hours.

  2. OnDemand Payment Setup: OnDemand pay is only applicable to shifts worked after your Dayforce Wallet has been set up. If the Wallet setup occurred post-shift, the funds for that shift will be included in the weekly payroll deposit to your bank account (detailed in the next section).

Direct Deposit Payments

Any remaining funds not transferred to your Dayforce Wallet by Tuesday are included in the standard weekly payroll run via direct deposit:

  • Payments for the payroll week are deposited to your bank account every Friday.

  • Hours or funds added by the payroll manager on Tuesday for the same pay period will not appear in Dayforce Wallet but will be included in your Friday direct deposit.

Does Dayforce Wallet need to be set up to receive funds?

Yes. Setting up Dayforce Wallet is required to use the OnDemand pay feature. For shifts worked before Wallet setup, payments will follow the Friday direct deposit process.
